Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using the Fontiex platform. By creating a CBAN account or using any platform services, you agree to these terms.
1. Definitions
"Fontiex" refers to the platform operated by Grandfleet, a limited liability partnership registered under the Limited Liability Partnership Act 2008, Kasargod, Kerala, India, and recognised by DPIIT as a startup. "FNX" means Fontiex service credits, a prepaid platform credit unit priced 1:1 with EUR. "CBAN" means Community Business Account Number, your unique membership identifier. "R" means Reciprocity service credits earned through community participation. "Member" means any registered user holding a valid CBAN. "Platform" means the Fontiex web application, mobile application, and associated APIs.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for a CBAN or using the Platform in any capacity, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform. These terms apply to all membership tiers: Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
3. Nature of FNX Credits
FNX credits are prepaid platform service credits. They are not a currency, cryptocurrency, investment, security, or financial instrument of any kind. FNX credits carry no guaranteed monetary value and are not freely redeemable for cash except upon account closure as provided in our Refund Policy. The Ref rate (administrative reference price for FNX) may be adjusted at the company's discretion. No financial return, profit share, dividend, or capital appreciation is implied or promised.
4. Membership & Subscription
Membership is available in four tiers: Free, Starter, Pro, and Enterprise. Each tier provides access to platform features as described on the pricing page. Monthly platform fees (₹30 for Free tier) are deducted from your R balance or charged separately as applicable. Membership is personal and non-transferable. You may not share, sublicense, or transfer your CBAN to another person. Fontiex reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these terms.
5. Use of Platform
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Platform to: (a) engage in fraudulent or deceptive activities; (b) impersonate any person or entity; (c) circumvent access controls or security measures; (d) upload malware or harmful code; (e) violate any applicable local, national, or international law; (f) engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement authorities.
6. Bookings & Services
Services booked using FNX credits are subject to individual partner terms and availability. Fontiex acts as a facilitator between members and service partners and is not liable for the quality, availability, or suitability of partner services. Cancellations of bookings are subject to partner cancellation policies. Where a booking is cancelled by a partner, FNX credits will be returned to your account within 7 business days. Fontiex does not guarantee the availability of any service listed on the Platform.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform — including logos, designs, text, code, and service descriptions — is the property of Grandfleet or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Platform content without our prior written consent. Your CBAN and account data remain your personal data, governed by our Privacy Policy.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fontiex and Grandfleet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including loss of FNX credits due to account suspension for terms violations, service unavailability due to technical failures, or actions of third-party service partners. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total FNX credits held in your account at the time of the claim.
9. Governing Law & Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Kasargod, Kerala, India. For members resident in the European Union, statutory rights under applicable EU consumer law apply in addition to these terms and are not limited by this clause.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a membership at any time. You may close your account from the account settings page or by contacting support@fontiex.com. Upon termination, your CBAN will be deactivated and unused FNX credits will be refunded subject to the Refund Policy applicable to your plan tier. Fontiex may suspend or terminate accounts immediately where it reasonably suspects fraud, misuse, or violation of these terms, without prior notice.
11. Amendments
We may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. We will notify you by email to your registered address and by notice on the Platform at least 14 days before material changes take effect. If you disagree with amended terms, you may close your account and receive applicable refunds before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
